Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Center Opens Jan. 5 in Heritage Harbour to Serve Growing East County
MANATEE COUNTY (Dec. 22, 2008) – Sarasota Memorial Health Care System opens its newest care center on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, in eastern Manatee County's Heritage Harbour community. The facility houses an array of Sarasota Memorial's advanced outpatient tests and services as well as a walk-in/urgent care clinic staffed by Pinnacle Medical Group.
Sarasota Memorial's diagnostic services at Heritage Harbour include MRI, CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound; blood draws and laboratory services, among other testing services. The hospital's comprehensive rehabilitation, pain care and home health care outpatient services also are onsite.
In tandem with Sarasota Memorial's outpatient services at Heritage Harbour is the Pinnacle Urgent Care Center, a walk-in and urgent care medical clinic. The clinic is staffed and operated by Manatee County's established Pinnacle Medical Group.
“Together, with the walk-in and urgent care services provided by Pinnacle, the Heritage Harbour center will give residents who live in the eastern reaches of Manatee and Sarasota County a convenient place to access a broader range of medical and specialty care," says Sarasota Memorial CEO Gwen MacKenzie.
The urgent care center and outpatient services are located on the first level of the new 28,000-square-foot facility. The center was built by Fred M. Starling, Inc. Starling's Brownstar Properties II, LLC owns and will be leasing the second level as medical office space. Sarasota Memorial purchased the land and first floor of the building and is renting space to the Pinnacle Medical Group.
The Pinnacle Urgent Care Center will be open seven days a week: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; weekends and holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about Pinnacle, call (941) 761-1616.
